Ms. DiPietro’s professional background is in mapping and data management system development, remote sensing, and digital libraries. She currently manages the Research & Information Services Program at Sonoma Ecology Center, a community-based non-profit working on environmental issues in the North San Francisco Bay Area. Deanne has focused much of her career on environmental information sharing and access, and has instructed hundreds of data managers in data sharing techniques. Deanne's recent work includes the development of the California Conservation Commons with a regional prototype in the North Bay Area, and is assisting with documentation and data management for the PECAS project.
